Stoney Pond State Forest

Stoney Pond State Forest is 1,469 acres surrounding 44-acre Stoney Pond, which was constructed in the late 1950s to provide wildlife habitat. The property has a system of cross-country skiing trails that can also be used for horseback riding in the spring and summer. The ski trails are designed for beginning to intermediate users. The pond itself can be used for canoeing and kayaking and is stocked with largemouth bass and panfish.
